Willow Alexander removals crew of three ready to start a house move
Service · Home Removals

A full home move handled end to end - itemised before it's quoted, packed by the crew who carry it, and rebuilt in the new house the same day. One fixed price, agreed before anything moves.

Vetted, trusted crews

Every mover is DBS-checked, reference-verified and trained to our standard before they set foot in your home.

The same hands you'll recognise

The crew who pack your home are the crew who carry it. Nothing changes hands unrecorded.

Kind to home and family

Considered, low-tox products that respect delicate surfaces, children and pets, without compromising the finish.

How it works

Itemised, quoted, packed, moved.

Almost every bad moving day traces back to the same thing: nobody asked properly before quoting. We take a full inventory and the access details at both ends first, so the crew, the van and the hours are sized to the actual house rather than a guess.

We take the detail

A video walk-through or a home visit - room by room, including the loft, the garage and the shed everyone forgets. We check parking, stairs and door widths at both addresses.

One fixed, itemised quote

A written figure that holds: crew size, van size, packing, materials, dismantling and any parking suspensions. No hourly meter, nothing discovered on the day.

Moved and put back together

We protect the floors and frames, pack what you've asked us to, load in a planned order, and rebuild the furniture in the rooms you want it in before we leave.

What's included

Everything a move actually needs.

A home removal covers the whole job as standard. The things other firms treat as extras are simply part of the price here.

Protection first

Floor runners, door frames, bannisters and corners covered before a single item moves. The house you're leaving matters as much as the one you're arriving at.

Dismantling & reassembly

Beds, wardrobes, tables, flat-pack and garden furniture taken apart at one end and rebuilt at the other. Fixings bagged and labelled, never loose in a box.

Loaded in a planned order

The van is loaded so the first things off are the things you need first - the kettle, the beds, the children's boxes. Not whatever happened to be nearest the door.

Placed room by room

Boxes go into the room they belong in, not stacked in the hall. We label by room at the pack, so the unload follows the plan without anyone directing traffic.

Fragile handling

Pictures, mirrors, glassware, lamps and screens wrapped properly and carried by hand. Higher-value pieces can be crated to measure.

Fully accountable

Full public liability cover from the moment we lift the first box until the last one is down. Certificates on request.

Who it's for

Homes of every shape, moved properly.

Across London and Kent we move flats, family houses and country properties - each with its own access problem to solve first.

Family houses

Three or four bedrooms, a full loft and a garage that holds more than anyone expects. Crewed and vanned to complete in a single day.

Period townhouses

Narrow staircases, original bannisters and fine plasterwork. Protected, padded and moved slowly enough to get it right.

Flats & mansion blocks

Service lifts booked, loading windows agreed and porters briefed before the day. Stairs where there's no lift, and priced honestly for it.

Downsizing & later-life moves

Unhurried and patient. We can sort, move, store and clear the remainder in one coordinated plan.

Country & long-drive properties

Gravel drives, gated entries and no loading bay in sight. Confirmed first so the van that arrives can actually reach the door.

Moves out of London

Kent, the coast or further. Long-distance moves planned as one job, with the same crew at both ends rather than a handover.

How we work

One crew. One price. One day, usually.

The questions people ask before handing over everything they own. Answered before you book, not after.

The crew that packed it, carries it

The same uniformed team from the first box to the last. Nothing changes hands unrecorded, and there is always a name you can ask for.

Fully insured, properly

Comprehensive public liability cover on every move, with certificates available before you book.

Fixed, itemised pricing

One figure, written down, covering everything on the inventory. If we get the estimate wrong, that is our problem rather than your invoice.

Carbon neutral by default

An all-electric fleet, reusable crates instead of single-use cardboard where you'd like them, and verified offsets for what's left.

Choose your level

How much of it would you like us to do?

The move itself is the same either way. What changes is how much packing you take on - and most people underestimate it.

Move only

You pack, we move. We still dismantle, protect, load, carry and rebuild - you just fill the boxes. Materials supplied in advance if you need them.

Part packRecommended

We pack the kitchen, the fragiles and the awkward things; you handle clothes, books and the personal. The most popular choice, and usually the sensible one.

Full pack

We pack every room the day before, move the next, and unpack on arrival if you'd like. You do not touch a box at any point.

Every quote is tailored to your home and the access at both ends, and comes back as a clear, itemised figure - no hidden costs, no hourly meter.

Questions

Things people often ask.

How much does a house removal cost?
It depends on the volume, the access at both ends and the distance - which is exactly why we itemise before quoting rather than guessing. You get one fixed, itemised figure that holds on the day.
Will the move finish in one day?
Most do. We size the crew and the van at quote stage precisely so it does, and if yours genuinely needs two days we tell you that at quote stage rather than at six o'clock on the evening of the move.
Do you dismantle and rebuild furniture?
Yes, included as standard. Beds, wardrobes, tables, flat-pack and garden furniture come apart at the old address and go back together in the room you want them in.
What happens if my completion date moves?
It happens constantly and we plan for it. Tell us as soon as you know and we'll rebook. If the dates leave a gap, we can move your things into secure storage and deliver them the day the new place is ready.
Do you supply boxes and packing materials?
Yes. Boxes, tape, paper and covers are delivered in advance, and we collect the empties once you've unpacked. Reusable crates are available if you'd rather skip the cardboard entirely.
Can you handle a piano, art or antiques?
Yes, but they're quoted specifically rather than lumped in with the rest. Pianos need the right equipment and crew; pictures, mirrors and cabinets are crated or wrapped to suit the piece.
