Send the details, we do the run.
Most collections are booked from a listing screenshot and an address. We only need enough to know the van size and whether the item needs two people.
Tell us what and where
A photo, the dimensions if you have them, the collection address and where it's going. That is usually enough for a fixed price.
We agree the window
Collections are often tied to a seller's availability or an auction house's release times. Tell us the constraint and we'll work to it.
Collected and placed
Wrapped and strapped for transit, then carried in and positioned in the room you want it - not left in the hall or on the doorstep.

Protected in transit
Blanket-wrapped, corner-protected and strapped to the van. Nothing travels loose, however short the journey.
Carried in and positioned
Up the stairs, through the door and into the room. We'll unwrap and take the packaging away with us if you'd like.
Multiple stops
Two collections and a drop, or a pick-up with a detour to storage. Give us the run and we'll price it as one job.
Assembly if needed
Flat-pack built, doors rehung, feet fitted. Useful for showroom pieces that arrive in three boxes and a bag of dowels.
Old item taken away
Licensed waste carrier, so the sofa you're replacing can leave with us and be reused, recycled or disposed of responsibly.
Fully insured
Public liability cover on every run, including items collected from private sellers.

How much does a local collection cost?
It's priced per run rather than by the hour, based on the van size, the distance and whether the item needs two people. Send us the item and both addresses and we'll confirm a fixed figure.
Will you carry it inside?
Yes, always - up the stairs and into the room you want it in. Carrying and positioning are part of the price, not an extra. We'll unwrap and take the packaging away too if you'd like.
Can you collect from an auction house?
Yes. Auction lots usually have a fixed release window, so tell us the house and the deadline when you book and we'll schedule the run inside it.
Can you do more than one collection in a trip?
Yes, and it's much cheaper than booking separate runs. Give us the full route - two or three collections and a drop - and we'll price it as one job.
Do you take the old one away?
We can. We're a licensed waste carrier, so the sofa or appliance you're replacing can leave with us and be reused, recycled or disposed of responsibly.
What if I don't know the dimensions?
Send a photo and the listing. We can usually judge the van size from that, and where it genuinely matters - a wardrobe against a narrow staircase - we'll ask for a measurement before confirming.
Can you assemble it once it's here?
Yes. Flat-pack assembly, doors rehung and feet fitted can be added to the run, which is worth doing for showroom pieces that arrive as three boxes and a bag of dowels.
